Building your network marketing business successfully requires you to do a lot of prospecting. But what does prospecting mean? It means approaching potential prospects who might or might not be interested in your network marketing opportunity by educating them on the benefits of joining your company, finding a solution to their problem whether it be financial or personal and then pitching the right kind of offer that suits their needs (product or opportunity wise).

The problem that most people have with prospecting is that they simply do not do enough of it. Remember, you only have 24 hours in a day. How often can you spend your time on prospecting? You can spend all day going out meeting customers – it takes 20-60 minutes just to drive from one place to another, not to mention the time it takes to drive back and heavy traffic you might face. Not only are you limited by locality, you can do everything by yourself as well because you might fall sick one day!

One of the best ways to overcome this problem is to create a form of automated prospecting that allows you to generate additional network marketing leads without your direct involvement. It is very simple to setup an automated prospecting system – all you need to do is to go on the Internet, get the right information about your company in the aspects of publishing your opportunity to the right crowd, and invest in the right tools for your network marketing business.

You will need to invest in a good autoresponder. An autoresponder is a tool that will automate certain tasks like scripted email replies, scheduled emailing and mass email broadcasting. Scripted replies help you to answer questions through an FAQ whenever someone asks a question through your E-mail. You can also schedule E-courses just like an online newsletter to build relationships with your prospects. Finally, if you have any online opportunity you wish to promote such as a product launch, you can send an E-mail broadcast and thousands of people will be notified at the same time.

You must also learn the art of creating an effective pay per click campaign. By using pay per click, you can quickly and constantly drive traffic to your website. You get to control how much you want to spend and how much traffic you want to send in.

As long as you have a properly set up lead capturing page, you can send your traffic there and into your autoresponder to facilitate an almost ‘perfectly’ automated prospecting system. It even works when you are sleeping.
